If you identify as a member of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. There is a $30,000 to California nonprofit BIPOC-led and allied arts organizations that have been provided to help address racial disparities in the local arts community.
This SVCF funding program primarily supports BIPOC-led arts and cultural organizations to help them focus more on nurturing cultural programs and building community development programs. The organizations that are interested in this grant program should have a specific program that is focused on creating access to racial justice plans to help serve the community they operate in.
The SVCF grant program will support organizations that will focus on these areas:
- The organizations should faciliate community programs that are focused on providing support for community residents engaged in developing and sharing work that reflects the community’s history and aspirations for change.
- The agency should also be focused on creating plans to meet community needs with projects and programs that are specifically designed with community residents in mind.
