Grants and in-kind services to Illinois and Wisconsin Black and minority-owned small businesses in eligible locations to support stabilization and growth in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis and recent social tensions. Eligible applicants are located in Milwaukee (Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Waukesha county), Wisconsin; and Chicago, Illinois (Cook county).
The COVID-19 pandemic and social unrest have had a devastating impact on small businesses across the country, and Fiserv is committed to helping this critical segment of the economy emerge stronger.
Fiserv is giving back to help small businesses get Back2Business with a program focused on helping to jump-start Black- and minority-owned small businesses in hard-hit communities. Back2Business is designed to help stabilize and grow small businesses, with business consulting services, leading Clover payments technology solutions from Fiserv and financial support for employee payroll, rent or lease payments, operations equipment, and resources.
In partnership with AEO, Fiserv is pleased to announce the Fiserv Back2Business Grants for Small Business Program, which will award funding to Black- and minority-owned businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and social unrest. Fiserv and AEO are equipping these businesses with vital education, coaching, and capital to truly fuel the growth of communities, creating sustainable business and shared value for all.
Eligible uses of funding:
- Premise re-design to maintain a safe environment
- Layoff aversion
- Make technology investments
- Cover operational costs
- Marketing to Customers
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Black- or minority-owned small business and an adult (18+)
- Must be located in Milwaukee (Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Waukesha county) and Chicago (Cook county).
- Must have revenue less than $1M manually
- Be founded prior to June 1, 2019
- Have less than 10 employees
