Tyler Perry Foundation Grant Application [Requirements]

The Tyler Perry’s Foundation is a private family foundation that has been designated by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt agency. The founding members care deeply about the folks of Olney and Young County, and they believe in spreading resources and riches to ensure the community’s long-term viability.

The Perry Foundation’s mission aims to turn tragic incidents into glorious victories by cultivating personal potential, and community resilience, as well as harvesting long-term change since 2006. Tyler Perry has devoted a large portion of his life to assisting people in need since entering the public eye, and while respectful, he hasn’t really been quiet and reserved regarding utilizing his voice to draw awareness to people in need.

He has given away millions of dollars to non-profit groups via his own charitable organization, the Perry Foundation, to detect and remove poverty, assist civil rights causes, assist victims of catastrophic natural disasters, as well as bring fresh water to people who need it.

The Perry Foundation also pays fees for students. To retain qualifications, the student must authenticate participation as well as GPA. Perry’s Board of Directors would then evaluate the scholarship requests and make a majority verdict on which students will be awarded scholarships.

Following the conclusion of the grant application process, the office administrator will meet with the board president to ascertain whether the candidates satisfy the basic eligibility rules. Candidates who fail to fulfill the basic qualifications will be alerted via e-mail.

Candidates who satisfy the basic prerequisites will be forwarded for evaluation to the judging panel. The screening board is made up of people with an education-related background who will collaborate with the management board to evaluate writings and other documentary evidence to ascertain which candidates will receive the scholarship.
