Do you have a community project working with the youths? Or have an idea to start one? Bit not sure where to get funding for your project? Here’s one to consider. Grants of up to $5,000 to the USA and St. Vincent and the Grenadines youth, ages 16 to 26, to pursue innovative ideas and projects. Special consideration will be given to applications in the areas of entrepreneurship, music and performing arts, and computer science.
Funding is intended to provide financial support to young people who demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm towards positive, new projects. Grant winners will be assigned a Mentor to encourage their progress and offer advice as needed. Application Eligibility:
– Applicants must be at least 16 years old and not more than 26 at the time of submission of the application.
– Must be a legal resident of the US or St. Vincent and the Grenadines
– Must not be a direct family member or relative of Hunter Watson’s family, nor part of the Hunter Watson Founders Committee or Board of Directors
Note: Applicants’ GPA, community service, leadership roles or religious affiliation will neither benefit nor negatively impact their application. School transcripts are requested only as evidence that the applicant has attended school.
The following are a list of items that are not supported through this grant: new computers, music equipment, business development supplies (i.e. cards), membership in organizations, social media platforms, or obtaining patents before a project.
