The NAACP has partnered with the Power Forward Small Business Grant Program to help create access to create access to funding to impact the economic empowerment of Black-owned small businesses. The $25,000 grant goes through a joint commitment of $1 million, which Vistaprint and the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation are part of. What is even more, is the fact that this grant award is going to be on a rolling basis.

The $25,000 grant program will foster this initiative of access and inclusion, which will, in turn, provide grants to African Americans who are starting their own business or have an existing business they want to grow. The grant opportunities to be featured on national co-branded platforms along with receiving marketing and design resources customized to their specific needs to help their business grow and thrive.

The NAACP grant is one that you can apply for by providing information about your business and what you intend to do with the grant if awarded. Grants are limited, however, when you know where to look for grants, finding these grants can be quite accessible, especially from wherever you are located.

This is a great advantage of online grants. Back in the day, the grant situation was not as simplified as it is today. You would have to take time to do research as to what grants you can find in your business area, however, with a website like africanamericangrants.org, all you have to do is search. Finding grants can be made easy if you can find a grant consultant that can guide you and show you the steps every step of the way.
